The Applique' Society (TAS)
TAS has a local group - the Camano Island Applique-ers. Group leader, Sandy Cartright, and fellow TAS members meet at Granny's on the third Thursday of each month, from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. For more information about TAS, visit their website at www.theappliquesociety.org

Sew & Sews. . .
You could call us a bunch of "So & Sos" but we really just sew and sew and sew and . . . We call ourselves the "Sew & Sews" and we get together most every Wednesday (with the exception of those Wednesdays when classes are scheduled). We spend most all day long, some come and go as their personal schedules permit, and we gather in the classroom at Granny's House. Each person brings a current project, sewing macines welcome, and we enjoy a little social time while we work. Come join the fun! Sew & Sews time is on a pay-as-you-go basis and the fee is $5 per person.

Granny's Tips
- Having trouble getting your points "pointy" enough? Look at the back of your sewn block. Is your quarter-inch a true quarter-inch? Are all of your seams consistent? Work on that true quarter-inch and you will be amazed at how those pointy points start showing up!
